A big scooter-type motorcycle driven by a 19-year-old man from Chatan Town hit 81-year-old Munesada Machida of Kadena Town, who was riding on a bicycle, on Hwy 58 at the Mizugama crossing in Kadena town, early morning on Aug. 1st.

Machida was taken into a hospital in a cardiopulmonary arrest, where he was confirmed dead later on the same morning.

Also, the driver of the motorcycle suffered bruises on various spots on his body.

Kadena Police are still investigating the accident.
