The new machines will be able to exchange the currencies of eight different countries. The machines will be placed in selected resort hotels and convenience stores. Okinawa bank installed similar machines in seven locations back in March. The additional seven machines will go into operation on Nov. 5th.

Among facilities that will get the machines are Okinawa World in Nanjo City, Grand Mer Resort in Okinawa City, and Palette Kumoji in Naha. The new machines are able to exchange U.S. dollar, Chinese yuan, Korean won, Taiwanese dollar, Hong Kong dollar, Euro, British pound and Australian dollar to and from Japanese yen.
