Yuichi Koyano, the president of Mabui Stone, a company specializing in the design and development of characters such as Okinawa’s best-known superhero Ryujin Mabuyer, announced the company would begin selling character-related products online.

The products include items utilizing Okinawa’s superhero Ryujin Mabuyer and other regional characters, and the aim is to sell these products throughout Japan.

Koyano says that the website selling the character goods should be fully operational by the end of the year with information on items such as T-shirts, plastic folders and more. He adds that the company aims to generate sales totaling about ¥24 million per year.
