Naha City installed AED devices in all 118 convenience stores within the city in March this year. Since then, there have been records of use of the devices and they actually have saved a life.

Regarding Naha’s outstanding experience, local governments throughout the country have been constantly demanding the same for their communities asking their fire departments to take similar steps.

Now Okinawa city is scheduled to install the AED devices in all convenience stores within the city, in a total of 43 locations.
