The winner of this week’s JU raffle is Katrina DeGuzman from San Diego, CA. She won a pair of tickets to the Ryukyu Golden Kings basketball home game.

Katrina has lived on Okinawa two and half years, and will stay on the island until 2015. She tells us that her life here has been peaceful and pretty quiet. She says she likes about everything here, including people, beaches and weather in general. As her favorite food has long been sushi, she is happy that she has been able to discover a couple of restaurants on the island that serve fresh sushi just the way she likes it.

As for her future plans, she would like to have a chance to visit mainland, especially the cities of Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
