Nishihara High School marching band wins first prize
Nishihara High School Marching Band won its category in the 41st National Marching Band and Color Guard Tournament that was held in Saitama Prefecture, Dec. 15. The Japan Marching Band Association sponsored the tournament.
Okinawa’s Nishihara High School performed in the high school category, and won the first prize three years since their last win. The head of the team, Rina Arakaki, was excited and said, “I am happier winning the first prize more than regretting we didn’t win the grand prize. I believe our practice truly paid off.”
