Okinawa Governor hospitalized
Okinawa Governor Hirokazu Nakaima was hospitalized, Tuesday, after he experienced pain in his lower body, and numbness in his legs.
According to Okinawa Prefecture spokesman, the governor had experienced similar symptoms since Mid November, and was having difficulty walking, standing and even sitting down. He reportedly was using a wheelchair when he attended a meeting in Tokyo with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Tuesday morning.
As his condition did not show any improvement, he decided to seek treatment in a hospital in Tokyo, Tuesday afternoon, where he was admitted for tests.
