In ceremony called Shousenzasai, a resident deity of Shikina Shrine in Naha, was moved to its new shrine, Sunday night.

Many people gathered to see the move, and watched silently when senior priests of the shrine slowly moved the deity to its new home about 100 meters away. During the move, the deity was covered with a white cloth and the priests blew whistles showing the way in the darkness with torches.
