A man riding a black scooter ran into a 14-year-old junior high school student who was crossing the street, Tuesday evening, in Maehara, Ginowan.

The victim suffered some bruises, and the suspect fled the scene. Ginowan City Police are investigating the accident and aiming to catch the hit-and-run suspect.

According to Ginowan Police, the suspect was a young male about 170cm tall, and medium built. He was wearing dark clothes and a half-cap helmet.
