Au shop on Kokutai Street outside Kadena Air Base celebrated their renewal opening, Monday, after renovating the shop to give it a new and fresh image.

The interior is brighter and more contemporary looks.

To celebrate the occasion, the shop has organized a special raffle running through Sunday. New au customers or those who want to upgrade their current telephones are eligible. Prizes include phone accessories, detergent, a 24-inch television and more.

What’s more the shop has an ongoing cash back campaign that rewards customers who make a new contract with au and buy three smart phones, with a ¥20,000 cash back, and those purchasing two phones get a ¥10,000 cash back. Those who upgrade will receive ¥3,000 worth of smart phone goods. And all customers visiting the shop will be given free popcorn to munch on!

Charles, the person in charge of the shop welcomes anyone just to pop in and ask any questions they might have. “We take pride to have accurate and useful information concerning our cell phones. We make sure that every customer leaves the shop satisfied,” he says, adding that although some procedures may take time if done on base outlets, “At our shop it is only one hour tops, guaranteed!”
