The movie theme park Universal Studios Japan (USJ) announced plans to build a new theme park in Asia, Wednesday, following the success of their first theme park in Osaka.

According to a USJ spokesman, the company is evaluating Okinawa or Kyushu as possible locations if the company decides to construct the new facility in Japan, but he added that a location outside Japan is also under consideration.

In any case, the company eyes a decision on the location soon as it aims to have the park ready and open for business in time for the 2020 Japan Olympics.
