Four new medical facilities have been under construction on a former U.S. military training range in Kin.

The inauguration ceremony of the new facilities was held on Feb. 28^th. Town Mayor Tsuyoshi Gibu together with some 200 local officials attended the ceremony.

The facilities will have the latest equipment for cancer radiation therapy, and all are scheduled to open for business on Apr. 1^st. The facility will create 125 jobs.

Apart from the medical facility, there will also be a healthcare center for rehabilitation treatment, fitting center for making and fitting prostheses and a thalassotherapy center to support developmentally challenged children.
