Ginowan City Police arrested a 14-year-old junior high school student, Apr. 2nd, on suspicion of purse snatching and theft.

According to police, the boy approached a 63-year-old man around 4:55 a.m. on the same day, and asked to borrow ¥10. When the man took out his wallet in order to give the boy the coin, the boy grabbed the wallet from the man’s hand and ran off.

The wallet contained ¥50,000 in cash. The victim was not injured.
