The annual Spring traffic Safety Campaign started on Apr. 6^th, and from the 9th the police started a special campaign targeting 36 specific locations on the island.

School zones get a specific attention during the campaign, and on the first day between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. the campaign netted 100 violators of the traffic laws.

Including in that count, the Prefectural Police say, there was one driver caught driving under the influence, and three were found driving without a valid license.

The campaign continues through Apr. 15^th.
