A woman riding on a motorcycle lost control and crashed into a roadside guardrail shortly after midnight, Apr. 4, on Route 331 in Yonabaru.

According to Yonabaru Police, 41-year-old Yuko Shiroma crashed into the guardrail for an unknown reason. She was taken to a hospital in a cardio-respiratory arrest where she was pronounced dead about one hour later due to hemorrhagic shock.

Police investigation to the cause of the accident continues.
