Okinawa World albino python lays eggs
The famous white python Nanto-chan, chich calls the Habu Park of Okinawa World home, has laid a pair of eggs.
Okinawa World Section Chief Yasuyoshi Iseda discovered on May 22 that the park’s albino python had laid two eggs, and continued laying eggs until late in the night producing a total of more than 20 eggs.
According to park officials, they are expected to hatch in a couple of months. This is the second time for the python to lay eggs and it has been 11 years since the first time. The eggs have been shown to the public since last weekend.
According to Iseda, “There is a possibility that another albino python is born, but we won’t know until they hatch.”
