Yoshimoto Theater, a subsidiary of Yoshimoto Kogyo show business agency, will move into the Okinawa Mitsukoshi building on Kokusai Street in Naha, according to Yoshimoto Kogyo announcement, Monday.

The building’s current occupant, Okinawa Mitsukoshi Department Store, will close its doors on Sep. 21st.

Targeting tourists from in and outside Japan, the theater is planned to have a stage for live stand up comedy. The theater is scheduled to open March 1st, 2015.
