FC Ryukyu plays in Japan professional soccer J-League III Division.

Okinawa’s hometown professional soccer squad, FC Ryukyu, wants to bring its brand of sport to the American community by offering free tickets to Sunday’s match against Y.S.C.C. or Yokohama Sports and Culture Club.

The only pro men’s soccer team on the island, FC Ryukyu is offering free tickets to SOFA status personnel and their families.  The match against Y.S.C.C. takes place on Sunday, beginning at 3 p.m. at Koza Sports Park, on route 23 by the Okinawa Expressway IC 4.  Gates open at 1:30 p.m.  “A” seating is free for SOFA personnel.  “S” seating tickets are available for only ¥500.
