Are Ryukyu Dragons favorites meeting their match at Aug. 26 bouts at Music Town?

The biggest names in professional wrestling – from the United States to mainland Japan and here on Okinawa — are preparing for the Koza Battle Festa 3, Sat., Aug. 23, night, in Okinawa City’s Koza Music Town.

Ryukyu Dragon Pro Wrestling is sanctioning the evening, which pits World Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment legend Jushin Thunder Liger against Gurukun Mask.  Another big name match on the card is Stars from Freedom Pro Wrestling in Tokyo and the Stars of Ryukyu Dragon Pro, including Ryukyu Dog Dingo, Hibiscus Mi, Captain Eagle and Sea Saver.

Doors open at 5 p.m. for the 6 p.m. show.  Ringside tickets start at ¥5,000, and reserved seat tickets are ¥4,000. General admission tickets are ¥3,000 and seats for juniors and seniors go for ¥2,000.  Pre-school age kids are admitted free.  Advance tickets, which are cheaper to purchase, are available through Lawson and Family Mart convenience stores, or at the Official Ryukyu Dragon Pro Wrestling website http://rd-shop.jp/.
