Chatan Town Tourist Association, Mihama American Village Association and Jumbo Tours will join forces in organizing a series of events under title “Night Tourism Entertainment Show” on weekends, starting Nov. 29^th. The event is planned to feature a wide variety of performers of music, dance, street performances and comedy.

The Chatan Town Tourist Association is given the task to post and update the schedule and programs on their web site.   The event is scheduled to continue through Feb. 1st, 2015, as a test.  Based on the results, the cooperating entities are planning to run the event through the next fiscal year.

This project takes advantage of the Prefectural subsidy of the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports.  Performers will be selected by audition and registered on a list. Noboru Nakajima, a producer and auteur, Tatsuya Yasuda, an artistic director and producer, and Yoshihiro Shimomiya, an event producer, have agreed to produce and coach the performers.

The event is scheduled to take place between Friday and Sunday, and start at 7 p.m. lasting for two hours.  Open auditions are scheduled for 3 p.m. on Oct. 25^th and 26^th.  For more information, would-be performers should contact the Chatan Town Tourist Association at 098-926-5678.
