A local resident found man bleeding from his head lying on a street in Gusukuma, Urasoe, on Nov. 1.

The man was in cardiopulmonary arrest when he was found, and was taken to a hospital, where he died a few hours later.

Urasoe Police is investigating the circumstances and cause of the man’s death. Investigators say that they have yet to determine whether the incident is a result of a criminal act or accident.

Police has been able to identify the man as a 47-year-old businessman from Urasoe. The victim has an injury on his head but no other injury anywhere on his body. The site where the man was found is in a residential area about 100 meters away from Highway 58.  Local residents say there are usually few people moving on the street and the area is very dark in the night.
