Results of the entrance exams of the prefectural public high schools were announced in the morning of Mar. 17th when the names of those who passed tests were posted on the bulletin boards in front of the schools.

13,704 students passed the test prefecture-wide, 13,453 of them for full time courses at the schools and 251 for part-time evening slots.  An additional registration took place at 48 high schools offering 25 courses on two days on the 18^th and 19^th.

The eligible applicants need to register through the junior high school they graduated from.
