U.S. military truck knocks down wall, leaves scene

A large U.S. military vehicle crashed into a concrete block wall of a private resident in Konbu, Uruma City, about 7 a.m. on Mar. 18th and knocked down a section of the wall about one meter high and three meters wide. The vehicle then backed off the site and drove away. No one was injured.

According to Uruma City Police, a female Marine in her 20s later told the military police that she had hit the wall and driven away from the site. When the MPs questioned her she said that she had lost her way at the time.

Uruma City Police plans to voluntarily question the marine about the incident.
