The 3^rd Kunigami Trail Run will take place at Kunigami Village Forest Park on December 12^th.

Registration for entering the competition begins Mondayat Fami-port terminals at FamilyMart convenience stores and online of Sports Entry http://www.sportsentry.ne.jp/.  The competition will be limited to 1,570 people

in consideration of the environment.  Last year, registration exceeded spaces before the deadline, so organizers are asking runners to register early for this year’s race. The closing date for registration is September 30th.

The Kunigami event has three events; the 19 km and 12km races are for ages high school students and older, while the Trail walk is for individuals of elementary school age  and older.  500 individuals, 40 doubles teams, and 30 teams of three are accepted for the 19km course.  The time limit is 4.5 hours and registration is ¥6,000 per person.  For the 12 km course, there will be a 3.5-hour time limit for 400 individuals.  The fee is ¥6,000 per runner.  The trail walk, 8.8 kilometers in length, will accept 500 walkers. They’ll have 3.5 hours to complete, and the entry fee is ¥3,500 per head.
