Okinawa Prefectural Police announced catching 28 people for driving under influence over the Golden Week holiday period from Apr. 29 through May 6.

The number is one more than over the same period of the previous year. According to police officials, the number of DUI arrests so far this year through May 6th is 361 cases, which is an increase of 16 cases compared to the same time period in 2014.
