Naha Police arrested on a 15-year-old junior high school girl Sunday on suspicion of robbery.

According to police, the girl is suspected of approaching a 55-year-old unemployed man, and snatching his wallet on a parking lot of a supermarket in Asato, Naha. The robbery took place about noon on Jun. 9th.

The girl snatched the man’s wallet that contained ¥7,000 in cash from the man’s back pocket with the help of another girl who’s on the second grade of a junior high school. Police say the girl is a member of a group who has been engaging in what the members call ‘old man hunting’ and is the fourth member of the group who has been arrested. The girl has confessed to the robbery.
