A male body was found about 30 meters off shore at Itarashiki, Yonabaru Town, in the evening of Jul. 9th.

According to Yonabaru Police, The body was badly damaged and without clothes when found. Investigators confirmed that the body was an 18-year-old boy who had gone missing while swimming with his friend at Tozoe Fishing Port a day earlier. Police believe that the boy drowned pending confirmation by an autopsy.
