A hit-and-run accident left a 42-year-old businessman seriously injured in Onaga, Nishihara Town early Tuesday morning.

According to Urasoe Police, the businessman, a resident of Yonabaru, was riding his bicycle about 3 a.m. on Jul. 21st on Route 38 in Onaga, Nishihara Town when he was hit by a car. The man fell on the ground and was seriously injured with a broken left arm and damage to his spine. However, the vehicle drove away from the accident site without stopping.

Urasoe Police is looking for the vehicle and investigates the accident as a hit-and-run case.
