Urasoe Police arrested 34-year-old part-time worker Hiroki Yamazato from Urasoe City, Sunday, on suspicion of confining his girlfriend in a hotel room against her will.

According to police, Yamazato took his 21-year-old girlfriend from her house to a hotel room and prevented her from leaving. He had her confined in the room from 2 to 10 p.m. The girlfriend reportedly wanted to break the relationship, and Yamazato wanted to convince her otherwise.

Yamazato has reportedly admitted to the charges.
