Naha Police arrested a 31-year-old man from Urasoe City on Aug. 6th on suspicion of violating the law banning prostitution and the Child Welfare Law.

According to Naha Police, Shoken Higa, a resident of Nakama, Urasoe City, is suspected of employing four girls aged 15 to 16, to work in his sex trade shops while knowing they were minors. Higa had the girls working midnight as prostitutes in his shops on Kokusai Street in Naha and Chatan since sometime in May.
