Students of the Urasoe Junior High School took the top spot in the team competition of the 45th All Japan Junior High School Sumo Tournament in Towada City, Aomori Prefecture, Sunday.

This is the first time for a team from Okinawa to win the tournament. Members of the team are Ryuji Nakazato, Tsuguto Toma and Rusei Shiroma, who are all 15 years old. IN the final match, they defeated Saisei Junior High School 2-1.
