An unidentified man was found floating face down in the ocean 50 meters offshore at Soeshi, Nakagusuku Village, Wednesday afternoon. The man was taken to a hospital unconscious and in cardiac and respiratory arrest, where he was confirmed dead an hour later.

According to Nakagusuku Coast Guard, the man looks to have been in his 60’s, is about 170 cm tall and weighs 75 kg. He was wearing a black T-shirt and navy blue jersey pants. He had false teeth on the lower jaw. None of his belongs have been found yet.
