Murder-suicide suspected in Nago Fishing Port deaths

Nago Police has identified the two men who died when a mini truck fell into the ocean at Nago Fishing Port, Aug. 1st. Police say they were a 51-year-old father and his 16-year-old unemployed son from Nago City. The cause of both deaths is believed to be drowning.

According to police and fire department officials, both had their seat belts fastened when they were pulled from the car. Furthermore, the father is believed to have been the driver, who started the car without turning any lights on. No fishing gear was found in the car.

According to a person who knew the two, the father seemed to have been lately in distress over his son who had a disability.

Police are investigating the case, including the possibility of a murder-suicide.
