Urasoe Police concludes body victim of hit-and-run
Urasoe Police has concluded that an old man found dead on a street in Miyagi, Urasoe City, in the morning of Aug 1st, was a victim of a hit-and-run.
According to Urasoe Police, an autopsy concluded that the cause of his death was a head compression and cervical spine damage, although there were no surface wounds on his body other than a tire-mark on his right arm when the police investigated the body at the scene.
The man was identified as 67-year-old unemployed Seisho Arakaki living in Nakanishi, Urasoe City. The police continue to investigate the case as a hit-and-run incident. No suspect has been identified yet.
