A 21-year-old Air Force servicewoman from Kadena Air Base driving her car collided with a 17-year-old high school boy riding a bicycle at an intersection on Highway 58 in Mihama, Chatan, on Oct. 5th.

The accident reportedly happened when she was attempting a left turn and the boy was going straight at an intersection late in the evening. The high school boy suffered a broken left thigh while the woman was not injured. The boy’s injury is not life threatening.
