Jonathan Dorfan, a president and CEO of Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) Graduate University in Onna Village, has been awarded the W.K.H. Panofsky Prize in Experimental Particle Physics 2016 by the American Physical Society. He shares the award with David Hitlin, Stephen Olsen and Fumihiko Takasaki. Commenting on the award, Dorfan said, “I’m glad to have been able to contribute to the finest project.”
