Kanaderu Park is an outdoor music event that takes place irregularly on Chuo Park Avenue in Okinawa City, three or four times a year.

Scarpetters food catering team will bake tasty pizzas at the Kanaderu Park event.

At the event, music performers from amateurs to professionals perform live on stages set at various spots along the street.

The theme of this time Kanaderu Park is ‘Winter Art Festival’ where visitors are offered a diet of live music enhanced with illumination displays and decorations from Odd Land, an outdoor music festival that took place last April.

Specific performance spots in the Saturday’s event include a Family Fest Booth at a stage in front of Eisa Izakaya ‘EB’ that features performances by student performers starting with Yagi Violin School at 16:30, followed by Koza High School Brass Band at 17:00 and Ryuguunotsukai at 19:00.

The Koza-Ura Live Booth is in front of PlaYer’S Café, and young musicians who appeared on a TV program titled ‘Koza-no-Uragawa’ introducing little-known music spots in Koza will perform on the cafe’s terrace.

And finally, as the body does not live on music only, Scarpetters food catering team that has gained fame as a regular vendor in the popular Food Flea events, will bring its large bus to the venue to cook authentic Italian pizzas.

The 17th Kanaderu Park event will take place rain or shine, except if the weather is extremely rough, on Saturday, Dec. 19th on Chuo Park Avenue and adjacent areas from 16:00 to 20:00. Admission to the event is free. The event website is at http://kanaderupark.com/index.html
