The deadline to sign up for the 2016 Okinawa Corporate Games is approaching fast. The deadline for signing up is Dec. 31st to join in the three days of festive fun that includes a mix of sports events, parties and parades, and at the same time gives participants a truly unique chance for networking and making new friends.

Individuals, organizations, groups of friends, families, colleagues and corporations may enter the Corporate Games. Organizers say the Games are the perfect way to create employee confidence, loyalty and team spirit, while increasing name and brand recognition. Participants in the last year’s Okinawa Corporate Games say the experience was invaluable for them allowing an unprecedented opportunity to develop contacts with leaders and representatives of national and multinational businesses and reach new clients.

The Corporate Games are open to all businesses and organizations, regardless of size, even to individuals. The entry fee of ¥10,000 per person (plus 8% tax) includes a lot of perks, such as opening and closing parties, sports participation, insurance, official programs, souvenir gifts and medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. This year there is even a two-day Ramen Festival, in which six specially selected ramen shops showcase their best flavors.

Sponsored by Corporate Games Japan, the games in Okinawa are being underwritten dozens of organizations and government agencies, including Okinawa Prefecture, the Okinawa Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Naha Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
