Uruma man accused of attempted murder
Uruma City Police arrested on Jan. 16th a 59-year-old Uruma City man on suspicion of attempted murder.
According to police, the man stabbed a 55-year-old electrician in the back with a knife with apparent intention to kill on a street in front of a bar in Katsuren-Henna, Uruma City, around midnight on Jan. 15th. The man denies a part of the charge, as he insists that he did not intend to kill the victim. The victim’s injury is not life threatening.
The men were reportedly patrons at the bar. The accused reportedly interfered in a quarrel between the victim and another man. However, he went into frenzy, because the victim shoved him. He then went to his house and returned with a knife, with which he stabbed the victim.
