An unidentified woman’s body was found in shallow water in a river north of Toyosaki Bridge in Toyosaki, Tomigusuku City, in the morning of Feb. 24th.

According to Tomigusuku City Police, the woman seems to have been in her 40’s to 60’s, about 152 cm tall and a bit chubby. She had no external injuries on her body.

She was clad in a long-sleeved fleece, long-sleeved black T-shirt, black long pants and socks.

Police are investigating the circumstances of her death, and have not ruled whether she died as a result of a crime or accident.
