Good Rate in Kin is the only currency exchange in town.

The shop turns into Bar Million on weekend evenings.

There are quite a few currency exchange shops in Okinawa City Chatan and Kadena areas, but an exchange called Good Rate is the only one located in Kin Town near Camp Hansen Gate 1 around the corner from Route 329.

Good Rate opened in February this year, and offers competitive rates on currencies of 15 countries. The daily rates are only a phone call away at 080-8351-5313. The currency exchange is open every day from 11:30 to 18:30.

An interesting twist with this business is that it changes into a bar appropriately named ‘Million’ from 19:00 to midnight, although only on Fridays and Saturdays.

Besides having a good stock of various alcoholic and soft drinks, the bar boasts a PS4 and Xbox game consoles with a wide selection of games for the patrons to play. That should suit well for the younger patrons, and provide them fun. At the same time, they can munch on jerked chicken snacks that is the specialty food at the bar.

The bar accepts payments in both dollar and yen. Major credit cards are also accepted.
