It’s only 100 more days to go to the 6^th Worldwide Uchinanchu Festival!

The festival runs from Oct. 27th to 30th, 2016, and including the eve of its official opening day, a variety of events will be held at its main venue of the Okinawa Cellular Stadium Naha and at other venues as well. More than 5,300 people from overseas and over 500 from Japan are expected to participate.

“Send Uchina’s (Okinawa’s) emotion and passion to the world!” as its slogan, the Worldwide Uchinanchu Festival aims to spread the Okinawa’s original spirit among both domestic and international participants, and stake out its independent future.

The World Youth Uchinanchu Association, founded at the 5th festival, is scheduled to held the Worldwide Youth Uchinanchu Festival in Okinawa from 20 to 23 October.
