Naha convenience store robbed at knifepoint

A man wielding a knife entered a convenience store in Asahi-machi, Naha City, about 3:45 a.m. Monday, demanding money. A shore clerk handed the money about ¥20,000 from the register and the man ran away. No one was injured. Naha Police is now investigating the robbery..

According to Police, the man who pulled a knife on the male shop clerk and demanded money was in his 20’s to 60’s, about 150-160cm tall and plump. He was wearing a yellow towel around his head, had black sunglasses and a flu mask. He wore a gray T-shirt, black pair of trousers, and a pair of black sneakers.
