Nago Police arrested 25-year-old Daichi Yamashiro, an Ogimi Village Office worker Monday, on suspicion of causing a traffic accident while driving under influence of alcohol.

According to Nago Police, Yamashiro drove a car on Highway 58 around 15:10 on Monday, and caused a traffic accident in Yofuke, Nago City.

Yamashiro has admitted to the charges. After his arrest, Yamashiro was sent to the Naha Public Prosecutors’ Office on the same day.
