16-year-old boy driving without license arrested after accident
Naha Police arrested Monday a 16-year-old boy for driving a car without license, after he crashed into another car, injuring the driver.
Reportedly, the boy drove the car on the national road 330 in Furushima, Naha City, at around 3:30 a.m. Monday. When a police patrol asked him to stop, he ignored them and drove away, but crashed into a parked car about 10 minutes later.
According to Naha Police, the car that the boy drove belongs to his mother. A male friend accompanied him when he was driving.
A female driver of the car the boy crashed into did not suffer any external injury but complained about whiplash and had a medical examination.
