Yamauchi Park is in the Yamauchi District of Okinawa City.

Though close to Kadena Air Base Gate 5, it is secluded in a residential area, and thus not so easy to find. The park was renewed a year ago. Prior to, the playground was run-down and too hazardous for use. Now with new equipment and a touchup, the park is ready to go.

Local residents come here often, especially on the weekends. The park has an elevated slide safe for middle school aged kids, as well as other playing areas safe for grade school children and infants. Additionally, the park has an outdoor basketball court for game lovers. The park has no official parking space, so use caution when parking in the area.
