Kyoko Nakamoto Art Print Show features Paradise originals

Artist Kyoko Nakamoto’s works of her famed Paradise Series’ newest works are now on display at the Ryubo Art Salon on Palette Kumoji’s Ryubo Dept. Store 6th floor.

Kyoko Nakamoto’s annual solo art show in Naha is under way at the Ryubo Art Salon, showing the Paradise series originals and sumi-drawing “kakejiku.”

Artist Kyoko will be at the exhibition at the Ryubo Art Salon on Palette Kumoji’s 7th floor, every afternoon.  The original paradise-series was created in 2002, and quickly snapped up by a buyer.  That buyer allowed Kyokoart Gallery to get a photograph of it to add to the archives.  The rest of the paradise series’ new series are on display at the exhibition, which runs through December 17th.

Kyokoart Gallery is in the process of relocating, and hopes to be in a new building in Naha Shintoshin by mid-2013.  In the interim, the studio remains in Shuri, and is open only by appointment at (098) 886-1800 or by email officen@bronze.ocn.ne.jp.

The Paradise Series of art has been declared a public collection in the Prefectural Hall Jichi-Kaikan, where original painting “A Springtime” has been on display all fall.  Kyokoart Okinawa has a number of art pieces including The Seasonal Choices, Pen Prints and Limited Edition Giclee Prints at their website at http://www.kyokoart.com.
