Ginoza Village ready for ‘Grown Up Concert’

Saxophonist Sala-Saji (fore) and guitarist/pianist Jin.

The first “concert for grown-ups” of the year features two great saxophones corresponding with a guitar in a concert that promises a relaxing high-class music performance that anyone can enjoy.

Sala-Saji is a duo playing great music within Okinawa Prefecture, at a base at various places throughout the year.  It’s a great music to be listened to by those not needing the sounds to be classics.  The musicians’ sounds are not quite jazz, either.

Guitarist Jin, who also plays piano, faces off against Sala-Saji and Suzuna on saxophone.

The Saturday evening concert has doors to the Ginoza Village Cultural Center opening at 7 p.m. for a concert that starts at 8 p.m.  The event is the second floor lobby in Garamand Hall.  Tickets are limited, with a pre-set audience of 60, so organizers say ‘come early’.  Tickets are ¥1,000 advance from Ginoza Village Cultural Center, or ¥1,300 at the door.
