Cuban dancer tames Latin Dance Workshop

Latin music and dance has a strong relationship with the Latin culture and everyday life.

The workshop teaches participants all the right moves to impress others on the dnce floor.

A “Latin cultural lesson for adults” is on tap next Wednesday at Mil beso, featuring Cuban dancer Shihoko.

The workshop promises to be small and intimate, with only 30 participants allowed.  Doors open at 7 p.m. for the workshop show, which begins at 7:30p.m.  Unlike a typical dance lesson, the workshop next week brings out more details of Latin dance, including details on how music and dance are relevant and interconnected during the two-hour session.

Admission is ¥2,500, including one drink.

The workshop is conducted with the tunes of a real latin band during the two-hour session.

Reservations can be made at (098) 898-4851.  Mil beso is located at 2-3-16 Futenma, Ginowan City, on the second floor.

Details of Latin dance will be taught using the live music of Kachimba. Since this is a Tohoku Earthquake survivor support event, the earnings of a lecture will be applied to support of the children of the stricken area. In addition, various experience classes such as the Central American cooking class, making musical instruments experience, Spanish language and Spanish song class, and more, are being planned for the future.
