Handmade crafts theme for upcoming CoCo Marche
Tedako Hall in urasoe City is the venue, Tuesday, for a free handicraft fair known as CoCo Marche Vol. 6.
The theme for this marche is “Fun of Handmade Miscellaneous Goods”, an event bringing together a variety of miscellaneous good stores who specialize in accessories for clothes, clothes, woodworks, eco-crafts, plants, flowers, aroma, healing and massage goods, as well as eating and drinking booths. The Marche runs 11 a.m. ~ 4 p.m. at Tedako Hall, located in Urasoe City’s Nakama district.
Workshops will also be staged in the hall, another drawing card for the rapidly growing marche, which brings together family companions, visitors and a good many young people. The event will also support the Gold Ribbon Movement, which supports children and families with childhood cancer. Organizers say some of the sales revenues will be contributed to Gold Ribbon Movement.
The recovery of pet bottle caps, used stamps and recovery of miswritten postcards are also being accomplished at this marche. All collections will be changed to money and used for charity, such as refugee children’s vaccines, medical implements and afforestation efforts.
